🚚 Where do you ship?
We currently ship to US addresses only. At present, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or PO Box addresses.
💵 How much is shipping?
All orders have a flat rate shipping fee of $9.99. We don't use services that take longer than 3 business days. Although it's cheaper to use longer shipping services, we really don't want your order to arrive melted. Shipping fees include icepacks to keep your chocolate in the best condition possible. For more information on shipping, visit our Shipping page.
Orders shipped outside of Colorado ship tax-free.
🍫 What if my chocolate melts in transit?
To avoid melting in transit, all chocolate products ship with ice packs and should arrive in excellent condition. If for any reason your chocolate arrives melted, let us know (also include your order number) and we'll take care of you.
💜 My child doesn't like the candy. Can I get my money back?
Whilst we hope your family will love your Candy Hackers products, we know that some of our children (especially those with autism) have aversions to particular smells, textures and flavors. Many of our children have multiple food sensitivities that come and go.
We understand this very well and have a no-fuss refund policy in place for you. Refunds do not include shipping charges or related charges such as duty or import fees.
Please do let us know why your product didn't work out for you. This is valuable feedback for us to consider and use for future versions of our products and ingredients. Simply send an email to email@example.com with your order number and we’ll take care of you. 🥰
🌽 My child has multiple food sensitivities. Do you use corn or soy in your candy?
No. Candy Hackers was started to serve neurodivergent families who have food sensitivities in addition to issues with refined sugar. We never use corn or soy in our products.
🥜 My child has a peanut allergy (or other nut allergies). Do you use peanuts or tree nuts?
We do use peanuts and tree nuts in some of our products. We make our chocolate in a facility that processes nuts and peanuts. Our candy is not to be eaten by anyone who has a severe allergy to peanuts or other tree nuts.
🐄 Is your chocolate dairy-free?
Yes! Our chocolate is made in a 100% vegan, kosher, and organic facility. Ingredient suppliers may have trace amounts of dairy protein due to shared equipment usage. We are not yet printing vegan certification on our packaging. Getting certified is expensive to do for a new brand that is just getting started.
🌾 Is your chocolate gluten-free?
Yes! Our chocolate is made in a gluten-free facility. We are not yet printing gluten certification on our packaging. As with vegan certification, getting certified is expensive to do for a new brand that is just getting started.
🌱 Is your chocolate organic, non-gmo, and kosher?
Yes! Our chocolate is organic, non-gmo, and kosher. We are not yet printing organic certification on our packaging. As with vegan and gluten-free certification, getting certifications (which gives you the permission to use these labels on your products) is expensive to do for a new brand that is just getting started.
🌎 Is your chocolate responsibly sourced?
Yes! The cocoa we use for our chocolate is sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Certifications are currently not on our packaging for the same reasons as above.
🍫 Is your chocolate made in the USA?
Yes! Our chocolate is handmade in the United States.
🍫 There are some white patches on my chocolate. Is it safe to eat?
There is a best before date printed on the packaging. If it's within the date and you see white patches (or a white-ish film) on your chocolate (this is called 'bloom'), it's safe to eat and hasn't gone bad. Bloom often happens to chocolate due to changes in humidity and temperature. It's best to store your candy in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to avoid bloom from happening.
